This year’s edition of Platinum Cup is primed to be our biggest tournament ever!

In attendance, will be over 200 teams from all over Eastern Africa in various age groups competing not only for the love of the game, but for a chance to win 250,000 Kenyan Shillings and the opportunity to turn their passion for football in to a professional career.

The tournament is scheduled for the 8th and 9th of December 2017 @ Saint Mary’s School, Nairobi.

Just like Gold Cup earlier this year, Green Sports’ team of scouts will be on hand at Platinum Cup to watch every player throughout the tournament and select the most talented individuals. These players will then have the chance to compete in the second edition of the Green Sports Trials where we invite foreign scouts and coaches to evaluate them and offer them the opportunity to birth a professional career.

The last Green Sports trials were held in September 2017 and from it 3 players will have the opportunity to play professionally for a European club. (You can read more about the inaugural GS trials here).
